As a transport planner and chartered engineer, Sofia’s experience in mobility spans across Singapore and the South East Asia region through different project development stages –devising strategic roadmaps for transportation infrastructure, delivering on transport master planning and microscopic modelling, designing detailed road systems and traffic schemes, producing active, non-motorised mobility facility designs and conducting road safety audits. She practiced for clients such as the Singapore Land Transport Authority, Changi Airport Group as well as the UK Foreign Commonwealth Development Office.
Her interest in futures has led her to focus on the different futures of transportation and mobility, particularly in how she can influence achieving a decarbonised, and more equitable and inclusive transport ecosystem.
