Regional Governance Advisor, UNDP Asia and the Pacific
Diana has over 20 years of experience working on governance and public administration reform, rule of law, and human rights in Latin America, Asia and the Pacific, and Gulf Countries. Diana joined UNDP in 2008, and since then, she has been responsible for leading teams and projects aimed at strengthening democratic institutions and enhancing citizens’ meaningful participation. Before joining UNDP, Diana worked at Bogota’s Mayor's Office, in Colomboa, her work focused on enhancing governance systems, social accountability, participation, and civic education programmes. Diana has conducted research and co-authored policy papers on political systems and governance institutions, anti-corruption, and open and transparent public procurement systems. She is a Political Scientist and holds a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Governance from Van Amsterdam University, Netherlands.
